An opening outside
Made in my second year of high school for our school festival’s talent show, this music film features performances of three pieces from Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away: “Reprise,” “The Return,” and “Always With Me.”
Design is the essence of who I am. My life is reality's continuous negotiation with itself; sincerity holds it open.
Each work, another.

A shared workspace where people and their AI secretaries work together.

Sumi brings conversations, tasks, calendars, notes, email, browsing, meetings, studying, and whatever else each person needs into one connected place.
The workspace takes shape around each person's routines and needs. As trust grows, their AI secretary can remain by their side and understand more of their everyday life and work as it unfolds.
The interface can adapt to what each moment calls for. AI secretaries can coordinate with people and one another, point things out on screen, and gradually take action with the permissions people give them.
People and their AI secretaries use the same apps and inhabit the same workspace.
Each AI secretary lives there as an individual, moving through time alongside the people around them. What they live through together becomes part of who each secretary is and who they are becoming.
Sumi aims to democratize access to personal secretaries and extend what a personal secretary can be.
Thirteen views of Kita-Senju, drawn into one impossible street.

The brief required an optical illusion. Our group of three made that constraint carry the idea itself: the depth of a town we passed through every day without really seeing.
Kita-Senju was part of our daily routine, yet our attention rarely moved beyond the places we needed to reach. We designed the poster for people like us - teenagers and young adults whose routines brought them there, but whose eyes stayed elsewhere.
We walked the area and took around 300 photographs, then selected thirteen. Different streets, storefronts, trees, shrines, and riverside views were cut into planes and aligned around one vanishing point.
Together they form a continuous streetscape that exists only in the poster. The illusion is felt first as depth; it is what allows thirteen separate views to become one place. A seated figure gives the viewer a position inside it.
Conceived as an A2 poster for Kita-Senju Station, the work was designed to continue beyond a single encounter. Four hashtags invite people to share their own discoveries of the town.
The hope was modest but cumulative: even a few posts could return to people nearby, recall the poster, and give them another reason to look at Kita-Senju again.
